Icaros
Verfasst: 30. Januar 2014, 12:38
The Icaro of Space
The first strophe of this Icaro I got in the Nineties, after drinking the first two times on a weekendworkshop; it is called "The Icaro of Space". Space here means not the outer space, but refers to the space that upholds our beeing whilst it surrounds us – the space in which we act, the space in which we are.
This space is permeated by qualities, of which the quality of water includes the ability of washing of all negativity. So here is the first strophe, the strophe belonging to the water:
Wash away my pain.
Wash away all dirt.
Wash away all illness.
Heal me where I'm hurt.
The notes are{and this goes for the rest of the song as well}:

This strophe is repeated four times and the same applies for the other verses of the hymn.
The second strophe belongs to the quality of space, that is including the ability of purification.
So here is the second strophe, the strophe belonging to the fire:
Purify my heart.
Purify my soul.
Purify my bodies.
Purify it all.
Note: There is only one heart and there is only one soul – only the bodies are many.
Since fire and water are opposite qualities{thesis and antithesis}, there has to be a connection, a bridge or synthesis - which is found in the rainbow, where water and fire work togeather to show us all the colors of the light.
So here is the third strophe, the strophe belonging to the rainbow:
Lighten up my way.
Lighten up my mind.
Lighten up my spirit.
Lead me whilst I'm blind.
"Lighten up" is here mainly used in the sence of "to illuminate" {'brighten with light' also fig.: enlighten}, but as well as there is not only one color in the the rainbow, there is not only one meanig in those words.
As for the last strophe, which is mainly connected to the quality of air{wind}, there is an anomaly. The last line of the strophe is not sung the first three times; the five notes are softly whistled – and sung out loud at the fourth repeat.
The quality of air is including the ability of 'taking away', as it for instance takes the water from the ocean into the sky to build the clouds and make it rain. It also includes the opposite ability of 'bringing' – in this case it brings{to the mind} the totality of the presence of
THE SPIRIT.
That is only spoken once, for there is no other words to come after!
So by sininging this strophe, there is a pause in the first, second and third time, that is representing the very last line.
So here is the last strophe, the strophe belonging to the air:
Take away my doubt.
Take away all fear.
Take away all sadness.
RIGHT NOW YOU ARE HERE!

The Icaro of the Earth
The second icaro I recived on the 6th & 7th of April 2012. It is named "The Icaro of the Earth".
Before going into detail, I'd like to stress the point, that all the information, regarding the first icaro, was recived by me within days, after I was given the second icaro.
Before that happened, the mere words was all I wanted and all I had. So there I was, totaly satisfied singing them, with no need or ambition for any consious understanding.
Getting the information gave me the ability to focus on an intellectual conzept regarding to Earth, Wind, Water and Fire as the four 'ELEMENTS'.
Taking that point of view, there seems to be a lack within the first icaro, for it does not refer to the 'ELEMENT' of Earth.
Even though the space, described as 'Outer Space', does have a solid{earthly} quality, this is not true for the space we live in, for this space is on the surface of the planet, upholded and belonging to that wonderfull creature, Pachamama, mother earth, permanently giving birth to live itself, creating beings at all time.
It is she, that is singing to her human children; it is about her love and compassion for us, her unlimited healing power and her tender, loving care.
In it live on earth is discribed as an garden for us humans, but since there is no grown-ups in this world{at least from my point of view}, it would have been more appropriate, to use the expression 'kindergarden' instead. ;-)
The notes are written below and - apart from the very last line - all verses are sung the same. In the very last line it's only the last bar, repeated three times, but with longer notes.

So here are the verses of the "The Icaro of the Earth":
Little children filled with sadness,
Filled with anger, filled with pain.
Little children filled with sorrows,
It is time to play again.
You are living in my garden,
Play and lough here and be fine.
In this garden I protect you,
Little children you are mine.
Allways loved you, I take care to
Remove all that made you cry.
I will show you secret pathes,
Even ways so you won't die.
Little children, little children
Little children play again.
Little children, little children
Little children laugh again.
Sing again, dance again, play again.
